DIY : Two Ways To Make Your Own Dish Soap

STEP 1

Materials needed for making dish soap:

1.     NaCl 100 gr
2.     EDTA 50 gr
3.     Texafom 1 kg
4.     Aquades or 2 liters of clean water
5.     Strawberry perfume 20 cc or enough
6.     Red food coloring 5 gr or to taste

These ingredients can be obtained at the chemical store. The use of coloring agents and perfume to adjust to each person's taste. Look carefully at the recipe before mixing and processing ingredients to make dish soap.

•     Prepare tools and ingredients according to the recipe.
•     Then boil distilled water or 2 liters of clean water until it boils. Do the ingredients used to make  dish soap according to the recipe while waiting for the water to boil.
•     If you have, take 1 kg of texafom and mix with EDTA a total of 50 grams. Stir evenly until the solution turns white and does not contain lumps (called solution 1).
•     After the water boils, add 2 liters of hot water into solution 1, then stir until blended.
•     The next step is to mix 100 gr NaCl little by little into solution 1, then boil for 30 minutes while stirring until it thickens and does not contain lumps (called solution 2).
•     If so, melt the coloring agent 5 grams using a little water, then enter into solution 2 little by little. After that, stir until the solution turns red until it is evenly distributed.
•     Next add a little fragrance to the solution and stir until it becomes even.
•     After 30 minutes, turn off the stove. Cool the solution until it thickens.
•     After the cold liquid soap, put it in a packaging bottle. Now liquid soap is ready to use.

STEP 2

In addition to the above method, you can also make dish soap using another method. The following will explain how to make Sunlight dish soap. You can easily make it yourself at home using chemicals that are available at the nearest chemical store.

Materials that need to be prepared:

1.     2 liter foam booster
2.     Sodium Sulfate 9 kg
3.     Texapon 18 kg
4.     Camperlan to taste
5.     Clean water is 180 liters
6.     Coloring to taste
7.     Fiscal to taste
8.     Perfume with aroma to taste
9.     EDTA or preservatives 1.2% (preservatives of this type can last for a period of 8 years)

For the dosage of ingredients or the dishwashing formula, you can modify it yourself according to the amount of soap to be made. So, it can be reduced or added as needed. Processing steps or how to make Sunlight dish soap:

•     The first step that needs to be done is to mix Sodium Sulfate and Texapon into a container large enough to accommodate all of this material. After that, stir the two ingredients until they become even and turn white.
•     Slowly add water to the mixture of Sodium Sulfate and Texapon. The water that you put in the dough is only half of it. While pouring do not forget to always stir it evenly.
•     The next step is to add camperlan to the mixture, then stir everything so that it is mixed perfectly and evenly. Also, make sure there are no lumps in the mixture.
•     After that, pour all the remaining water that has been prepared slowly while continuing to stir so that all ingredients are mixed evenly.
•     If so, insert the foam booster into the mixture that has formed little by little until the mixture turns thick, then add EDTA and fisatif, then stir again until everything is mixed evenly.
•     Add perfume and coloring that have been previously prepared, then stir again until blended.
•     Now high-quality liquid dishwashing soap like Sunlight is ready to use.

If the amount you use is in accordance with the explanation, the liquid soap you produce can reach around 215 liters. Making your own dish soap will certainly save money. Besides being used alone, you can market the liquid soap or sell it back to others.
